As of 6pm last night, I'm am the proud father of a powder-blue iPodMini (3" long, 0 lbs 3oz). I was a little worried holding it him first - he's so small! What if I drop him? I quit worrying as soon as I looked down into his big beautiful eye. He looks and acts just like us! He's slim and graceful like
his mother, yet intuitive and rugged like his father (me).
OK, maybe I'm taking this a little too far, but this is the most exciting gizmo I've had in a long time. I've got quite a few high-end electronic toys to play with, but nothing has piqued my interest as much as the iPodMini. After only a few hours of using it, I can't figure out why I was still using my
Archos 20 gig AV brick. Sure, it played video, photos, and MP3s, but it was bulky, had a cumbersome interface, and was lackluster in every way.
Apple's got it figured out - don't try to add every feature out there. You'll just end up making a mediocre product that ends up in the junk drawer. If you're going to do something, do it well. Apple did.
oh yeah...
THANK YOU SARAH! This is like a male equivalent of a diamond ring. Except a LOT cheaper. And
don't think this means you're getting a great dane for Christmas.
